Big Apple Internships was formed from Bigapplehead.com, a highly successful internet job board mainly focused on the New York metro area. Due to the increasing needs of its users, that needed housing during the summers and internship placement, we founded Big Apple Internships.

Big Apple Internships founder, Jonathan Hedvat, graduated from Rutgers University in 2002 with a degree in Finance and Sociology. Jonathan did about 6 internships in college and learned the value of doing internships to further ones career. On his way to his internship on September, 11th, 2001 Jonathan experienced the tragedies of that day and started an internet business from his dorm. Today, Big Apple Internships and BigAppleHead remain to help students advance their career and aid college students in gaining the experience to build a successful career.
